Signatures: "Marla Gibbs/ Mary '227'", "Alaina Reed/ Rose 227", "Hal Williams/' Lester'/227" and "Jackee/ 227" all in black ink, 14x11 card. The sitcom 227 was televised on NBC from 1985-1990. It centered on a Washington, D.C. tenement and was in the Nielsen Top 20 its first two seasons. MARLA GIBBS played Mary Jenkins. ALAINA REED (1946-2009) was Mary's best friend Rose Holloway. HAL WILLIAMS was Mary's husband Lester. JACKEE HARRY played neighbor Sandra Clark. Each of these actors came to the series with solid TV experience: Gibbs with The Jeffersons (1977-1985), Reed with Sesame Street (1976-1988), Williams with Private Benjamin (1981-1983), and Harry with Another World (1983-1986). Slight gray "haloing" of signatures, reaction of ink to paper. Otherwise, fine condition.
