ALBERT BURLESON
Burleson signs card in black ink
Signature: "A. S. Burleson". 3¾x2¼ card. ALBERT S.BURLESON (1863-1937) was a U.S. Representative from Texas (1899-1913) and U.S. Postmaster General under President Wilson (1913-1921). His grandfather, Edward Burleson, was Vice President of the Republic of Texas (1841-1844). Lightly toned. Slight bleeding of ink at "A" and "B". Adhesive residue (previous mounting) on verso - no show through. Otherwise, fine condition.
