ARCHDUKE FELIX - TYPED LETTER SIGNED 12/16/1940 - DOCUMENT 23578

 
ARCHDUKE FELIX. TLS: "Archduke Felix of Austria", 1p, 7¼x10½. The Warwick, Houston, Texas, 1940 December 16. To William Cavalier, Oakland, California, whom he had met in San Francisco, thanking him for his kindness. In English. In part: "I enjoyed so very much the trip on the yacht of Mr. Schwallenbach around the Bay of San Francisco, and the interesting talk we had afterwards at the Club...." Archduke Felix was a son of Charles I, Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary (1916-1918). Lightly creased and soiled. Erased pencil notes at upper right. Overall, fine condition.
