Inscribed photograph signed "To Ruth & Jerry Thomas/Arthur Hailey/'87". Price label affixed on verso. B/w, 7¾x9¾ overall, 7½x9¼ image, one surface. Best-selling English-born author Hailey (1920-2004), who began his writing career with scripts for early TV anthologies, sold over 170 million copies of his books in 40 languages. His works, many of which were made into feature films, include Hotel (1965), Airport (1968), Wheels (1971) and The Money Changers (1975). Lightly creased and bowed. Lightly creased corners. Otherwise in fine condition.
