Unsigned script for the Charlie's Angels episode "Angel In the Night", revised final draft dated 3 January 1978, aired in Season 2, Episode 21 on 22 February 1978. Written by screenwriter and Charlie's Angels producer Edward J. Lasko.
Script unsigned: Blue cover, 56 pages, 8½x11x½, typed. EDWARD J. LASKO (c. 1933-2009) had writing credits on three 1959 movies before turning his attention to TV in 1960. Between then and 1986, he earned writing credits on over 50 TV shows, including Adventures in Paradise (1961-1962), Dr. Kildare (1964-1966), Combat! (1963-1967), Laredo (1965-1967), The Wild Wild West (1967-1968), The Rat Patrol (1967-1968), The Guns of Will Sonnett (1967-1968), The Virginian (1967-1970), Mission: Impossible (1967-1973), Star Trek (1968), The Big Valley (1968-1969), Mannix (1969-1972), The Rockford Files (1975-1976), Starsky and Hutch (1975-1976) and Charlie's Angels (1976-1981). He also produced 28 episodes of Charlie's Angels and served as a story editor for that series in 1976 and 1977. Charlie's Angels, featuring three winsome but very tough women working for Charlie Townsend's detective agency, was televised from 1976 to 1981 and numbered among the top ten shows in the Nielsen ratings in its first three seasons. The series star Kate Jackson, who played Sabrina Duncan, won two Emmy Award nominations and David Doyle, who played John Bosley, an Emmy nod as well. Cover page is creased at edges and lightly toned. Pin size white spatter at top center. Two brass fasteners at left edge with one additional binding hole at left center. Otherwise, fine condition.
