The Former U.S. Trade Representative poses smartly in suit and tie, signs his best wishes for admirer in black ink
Inscribed photograph signed: "To Charlie Price/ An Ambassador Extraordinaire!/ With best wishes./ Clayton Yeutter/ U.S. Trade Rep." in black ink. Color, 8x10, actual image 6x7½. Clayton Yeutter (b. 1930) served as the United States Trade Representative (1985-1989) and United States Secretary of Agriculture (1989-1991) underneath President George H.W. Bush. He also served as the Chairman of the Republican National Committee from 1991 to 1992 and most recently is working as a Senior Advisor at the international law firm Hogan Lovells in Washington, D.C. Charles Price (1931-2012) was a prominent American businessman who served as an United States Ambassador to Belgium (1981-1983) and to the United Kingdom (1983-1989) during the Reagan administration. Toned. Corners rounded. Adhesive in margins on verso, slightly frayed along edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
