The Prisoner of War and Air Force veteran signs his name and best wishes to the popular TV and radio host George Sanders
Inscribed book signed: "To: George Sanders/with sincere/Best wishes/Bobby Bagley", dated November 27, 1987, in black ink, 129 pages, paperback, 5¼x8, color. Published by Bible Voice, Inc. Copyright 1978. Written by Rod Gragg, entitled Bobby Bagley POW, BOBBY BAGLEY (1933-1997) was a pilot and Colonel in the United States Air Force who went missing from action in September of 1967 while in North Vietnam. He was forced to eject from his jet and was taken as a Prisoner of War. Col. Bagley spent just over 2,000 days in captivity and was released in March of 1973 during Operation Homecoming. After being freed, he spent the remainder of his life serving in the Air Force and rising in the ranks until his retirement in 1981. Colonel Bagley died of cancer in 1997. GEORGE R. SANDERS, originally a disc jockey, became a prominent radio/TV interview host, first in Los Angeles and later in Portland. Lightly worn. Fine condition.
