ELIZABETH ALLEN - AUTOGRAPH SENTIMENT SIGNED - HFSID 18940

ELIZABETH ALLEN
Index card signed with "All the best" by Tony-nominated actor Elizabeth Allen. With a small printed color photo of Allen in a red gown affixed.
Autograph sentiment signed "To Kayo,/All the best,/Elizabeth/Allen" in blue ink. 4½x3 card. With 1½x2¾ printed color photo affixed at left edge. American actor and singer Allen (1929-2006) received two Tony nominations for her performances in the musicals The Gay Life (1961-1962) and Do I Hear a Waltz? (1965). Often cast as a good girl, Allen got her start on the stage and in modeling, landing her first TV credit on the Jackie Gleason Show at the "Away We Go!" girl. She first appeared on TV and in her first movie, From the Terrace, in 1960, the first of her over TV roles until 1983. One of Allen's most memorable performances was as Jack Warden's daughter in Donovan's Reef (1963) and as a living mannequin in the 1960 Twilight Zone episode The After Hours. She also had recurring roles Bracken's World (1969-1970), The Paul Lynde Show (1972-1973) and C. P. O. Sharkey (1976-1977). Lightly toned and bowed. Photo is lightly silvered. Otherwise in fine condition.
