This First Day Cover honoring the World's Fair is signed by the United States Congressman in blue ink
First Day Cover Signed: "Frank J. Becker" in blue ink. 6½x3¾. First Day of Issue Stamp honoring the New York World's Fair 1964-1965. Postmarked World's Fair, New York, April 22, 1964. Five cent stamp affixed. FIRST DAY OF ISSUE. Frank J. Becker (1899-1981) was a United States Congressman who served on behalf of the 3rd District (1953-1963) and 5th District (1963-1965) of New York. Before his career as a civil servant, Becker served in the Army from 1918-1919 and founded a real estate and insurance business. Fine condition.
