Headed: "Print Documentation". Sheet provides background on New York artist Rocco Callari's lithograph, which accompanied the Bulgarian Fresco stamp in the "Art at the United Nations" series. The stamp was issued on April 15, 1981. From the "Note on Artist": "Although this is Mr. Callari's first WFUNA design, he is no newcomer to the world of philately - he has already to his credit three official first day covers for the United Nations Postal Administration. Mr. Callari joined the United Nations in 1971 as a professional designer on the staff of UNPA's Graphic Design Unit. His bold and colourful designs for posters, fliers, catalogues, packaging, advertisements, souvenir cards and folders, logos and brochures are originality at its finest. He adapts easily to working in any medium...He has a special talent for etching, three-dimensional sculpture and acrylics...." Slightly creased at upper left corner. Fine condition. Two items.
