EDDIE FISHER - INSCRIBED PHOTOGRAPH SIGNED
EDDIE FISHER
Youthful image shown wearing a suit and tie
Inscribed Photograph signed: "To Ellen/My Best Wishes/Eddie Fisher", B/w 8x10. Although he is best remembered today for his marriages to, and divorces from, Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor and Connie Stevens, Eddie Fisher (1928-2010) was a very popular singer and TV personality in the 1950s. He had several hit records in the early 1950s, including "Any Time", "Tell Me Why", "I'm Walking Behind You" and "Oh! My Pa-pa". Fisher also hosted a series of musical variety shows (1953-1959), winning a Golden Globe for Best TV Show (Coke Time) in 1958 and being nominated for Emmy Awards for Best Male Singer in 1955 and 1956, and he made one movie each with Reynolds (Bundle of Joy, 1956) and Taylor (Butterfield 8, 1960). Light surface scratches (barely visible head on). Slightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
