APOLLO-SOYUZ
 The first joint USA-USSR mission in space.
 Booklet signed: "V. Kubasov", "Stafford", "A. Leonov", "Vance Brand" and "D.K. Slayton", 85p, 8x10½. The Official NASA Press Kit issued in 1974 on the 5th anniversary of the first manned mission to the Moon aboard Apollo 11, signed on the cover. Kubasov and Leonov signed in Russian. In addition to facts about all Apollo moon landing missions and transcripts of Apollo 11 conversations on the Moon, messages from world leaders after the first Moon landing are included. On July 15, 1975, an Apollo spacecraft carrying Thomas Stafford, Donald Slayton (1924-1993) and Vance Brand was launched from Florida. About seven hours earlier, a Soyuz spacecraft carrying Alexei Leonov and Valeriy Kubasov was launched from Kazakhstan in the first launch ever televised live by the Russians. On July 17th, Apollo and Soyuz docked in space. "We have succeeded!" Stafford joyfully announced in Russian. "Good show!" replied Leonov in English. Diagonal crease at lower right corner, else in fine condition.
