PAUL ARIZIN - CARD SIGNED
PAUL ARIZIN
Index card signed by the 1978 Basketball Hall of Fame player
Card signed "Paul Arizin/Phila Warriors". Blue ink and lead pencil notations on verso in unknown hand. 5x3 card. Arizin, born Paul Joseph Arizin in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1928, was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1978. During his college career at Villanova University (1946-1950), Arizin was a three-time All-Conference selection and he led the nation in scoring during his senior year. Arizin then played professionally for the Philadelphia Warriors (1950-2 and 1954-1962), who won the NBA Championship in 1956. During his NBA career, which was interrupted by service in Korea, Arizin was selected for the All NBA First Team in 1952 and 1956-1957, was a ten-time NBA All-Star (1951-1961) and was the NBA All-Star Game MVP in 1952. Arizin, who later played for the EBL's Camden Bullets (1962-5), retired as the NBA's third leading scorer (16,266 points). Lightly toned. Signature is shaky but legible. Otherwise in fine condition.
