THE KINGFISHER BROADWAY CAST - SHOW BILL SIGNED CO-SIGNED BY: CLAUDETTE COLBERT, REX HARRISON - DOCUMENT 78778

THE KINGFISHER BROADWAY CAST: REX HARRISON and CLAUDETTE COLBERT
Rex Harrison and Claudette Colbert signs a show bill from their play The Kingfisher.
Show bill signed: "Rex Harrison" and "Claudette/Colbert." Show bill of the Biltmore Theatre's production of The Kingfisher, New York, 1979 April. The new comedy by William Douglas Home starred Harrison as Cecil and Colbert as Evelyn. It is the story of a bachelor who sets out to win the love of a woman he lost fifty years earlier. Sir REX HARRISON (1908-1990), known for his suave, nonchalant style, appeared in the Broadway (1956-1958) and film (1964) versions of My Fair Lady, winning a Tony Award and the Best Actor Academy Award for his role as Professor Henry Higgins. He also won the 1949 Tony for Anne of a Thousand Days and was nominated for the 1963 Best Actor Oscar for Cleopatra. CLAUDETTER COLBERT showed her flair for sophisticated comedy by winning the 1934 Academy Award for Best Actress for It Happened One Night. Fine condition.
