Writing from his desk in Washington, the Congressman signs a typed letter urging, "favorable and expeditious handling."

On official letterhead of the Congress of the United States, U.S. House of Representatives, in full: "Dear Doctor Goldberg: I wish to urge favorable and expeditious handling be given the attached request received from Ms. Helene M. Lloyd, Assistant Superintendent, Board of Education, City of New York [item not included]. Your comments after reading Ms. Lloyd's request will be appreciated. Thank you. Sincerely yours." Joseph Patrick Addabbo (1925-1986) was a New York City politician who served as a Democratic U. S. Representative from 1961 until his death in 1986.
