OVETA CULP HOBBY. Signature: "Oveta Culp Hobby", 5x3 card with ornate border. Hobby helped develop the Women's Army Corps (WACs) and served as its Director from 1942-1945. From 1953-1955, she served in President Eisenhower's cabinet as the first Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare and was Editor and President of the Houston "Post" from 1938-1942 and 1955-1983. Fine condition.
