Signed handwritten letter from the English comedian, dated in 1979.
Autograph letter signed: "Peter Glaze" 1 page, 8½x11. Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth, January 3, 1979. On personal letterhead. In full: "Dear Henry Derrick Cooper, Herewith your signed photograph which you asked for [not included]--I hope you enjoyed the show-- Good luck for 1979-- Kind regards." Peter Glaze (1917-1983) was an English comedian and actor, famous for hosting the BBC children's series, Crackerjack throughout the 1960's and 1970's. He also played in Together Again (1957), Doctor Who (1964) and No Hiding Place (1962-1965). Glaze performed his last act on Suez 1956, a British TV movie which aired in 1979. Normal mailing folds. Fine condition.
