STANLEY K. HATHAWAY. TLS: "Stan Hathaway" as Governor of Wyoming, 1p, 7¼x10½. Cheyenne, Wyoming, 1973 September 27. On embossed letterhead of Wyoming Executive Department to Mr. Danny Franklin, Phoenix, Arizona. In full: "I sincerely appreciate your kind letter and good wishes of September 23; and it is with pleasure that I forward herewith my autographed photo, hoping it will be a meaningful addition to your collection. With all good wishes, I am Sincerely yours". Photograph not present. Stanley Knapp Hathaway (1924-2005), a Republican, was Governor of Wyoming (1967-1975) and Secretary of the Interior in the Ford administration (1975). Slightly creased with fold, not at signature. Fine condition.
