Printed Photograph Signed In Ink: "William Bolger" in black felt tip. 5x8. William F. Bolger (1923-1989) was born in Waterbury, Connecticut and became the 65th Postmaster General of the United States from March 15, 1978 to January 1, 1985. He was the second career postal employee to attain the rank of Postmaster General. He died on August 21, 1989 in Springfield, Virginia. The Bolger Conference Center in Potomac, MD is named after him. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine condition.
