1963BALTIMORE COLTS
White Spalding Johnny Unitas football signed by the 1963 Baltimore Colts, extremely
rare!
Football signed: "Raymond Berry", "Bobby Boyd", "Nate Craddock", "Wendell Harris", "Alex
Hawkins", "Jerry Hill", "Jerry Logan", "John Mackey", "Tom Matte", "Fred Miller",
"Leonard Moore", "Jimmy Orr", "George Preas", "Willie Richardson", "Alex Sandusky",
"Don Shinnick", "Dan Sullivan", "Dick Syzmanski", "Johnny Unitas", "Bob Vogel", "Butch
Wilson", "Jim Welch", along with several other signatures. A white Spalding football signed by
the 1963 Baltimore Colts team. Four years after winning consecutive NFL championships, the
Baltimore Colts still had several future Hall of Famers on their roster, including Johnny
Unitas, John Mackey, Lenny Moore, Raymond Berry, Jim Parker and Gino
Marchetti. This team, head coached by Hall of Famer Don Shula went 8 and 6 and did not
qualify for playoffs. However, this ball carries the signatures of the players and superstars
from the Colts first two championships and many of the younger names played when
Shula and the Colts won the NFL championship in the 1968 season. Ball is lightly worn
and soiled. Ball is hard to the touch, with a depression on one of the panels. No longer
inflatable. Signatures beaded but legible, some signatures run into one another. Otherwise, fine
condition.
