BASEBALL: 500 HOME RUN HITTERS Ball signed by 11 of the game's greatest hitters in an attractive display. Rawlings Official "Brown" Baseball of the American League signed by 11 of the 19 players who hit over 500 home runs during their career: "Mickey Mantle" (536); "Ted Williams" (521); "Willie Mays" (660); "Ernie Banks" (512); "Harmon Killebrew" (573); "Mike Schmidt" (548); "Willie McCovey" (521); "Eddie Mathews" (512); "Frank Robinson" (586); "Reggie Jackson" (563) and "Hank Aaron" (755). Ball mounted in a plastic cube and set in a black painted wooden base (18½x6½x2) with a metal plaque captioned: "Baseball's Best Batters" (all eleven listed). Inserted in a groove in the the base is a 12x12 black matted, plastic covered, collection of eleven color close-ups of the signing players, arranged in the same order as on the plaque. There is room to add the signatures of Eddie Murray, Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa and Rafael Palmeiro, who have joined the 500 Club since this ball was signed. Four signers of this ball have died: Mantle (1995), Mathews (2001), Williams (2002) and Killebrew (2011). Ball slightly toned. Otherwise, fine condition. Display is in fine condition. Accompanied by PSA/DNA LOA.
