Playbill for a production of A History of the American Film at the Anta Theatre in New York. MAUREEN ANDERMAN (b. 1946) has appeared in 18 Broadway plays since 1970, and many more off-Broadway and regional shows. She won a Theatre World Award in 1972 for Moonchildren and notched a Tony nomination for The Lady from Dubuque (1980). She made many TV guest appearances, including both prime time series (Kojak, St Elsewhere) and daytime dramas. She returned to Broadway in 2007 for The Year of Magical Thinking. SWOOSIE KURTZ, named Swoosie after her father's WWII aircraft, has won two Tony Awards (Fifth of July, 1981; House of Blue Leaves, 1986) and been nominated for two more (Tartuffe, 1978; Frozen, 2004). On television, she won an Emmy as Outstanding Guest Actress in 1990 (for Carol & Company) and gained nominations for five more. Kurtz co-starred in the series, Sisters, from 1991-1996. Kurtz, who began appearing in films in the 1970s, was seen in Cruel Intentions in 1999 and in the TV miniseries, Category 7: The End of the World, in 2005. BRENT SPINER(b. 1949) appeared on New York stages and supporting film and TV roles before beginning in 1987 a long run as the android Data on 7 seasons of Star Trek: the Next Generation, 4 feature films, and several video games. (Despite some guest appearances on Star Trek: Enterprise, Spiner believes he is now too old to continue playing Data. Other SF roles have included chief scientist at Area 51 in the film Independence Day and a major part in the short-lived TV series Threshold. He returned to Broadway in 1997, starring as John Adams in a revival of 1776. Spiner released a musical album, a collection of 1940s pop standards titled Ol' Yellow Eyes is Back. Currently a teacher at UCLA, APRIL SHAWHAN (b. 1940) is familiar with the theatre world, appearing in a string of Broadway productions between 1965 and 1988. Her first major role was as Bernstein in the Broadway play A Race of Hairy Men!(1965). Her next play was 3 Bags Full(1966), which would earn her a Theatre World Award. Other plays include Cop Out (1969), Over Here! (1974), and A Streetcar Named Desire (1988). She has only appeared in one film, The Lay of the Land(1997).American actor DAVID GARRISON (b. 1952) is best remembered for his role as Steve Rhodes in the television series Married with Children. Garrison is also a prolific Broadway actor, he was nominated for a 1980 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for A Day in Hollywood / A Night in the Ukraine and a 1996 Drama Desk Award for I Do! I Do!. His other Broadway performances include Torch Song Trilogy (1982-1985) and Titanic (1997-1999). Garrison has appeared in films and television for over 30 years and his notable credits include It's Your Move (1984-1985), Working It Out (1990) and 30 Rock (2013). Also signed by MARY CATHERINE WRIGHT (b. 1948) as Contract Player #2, WALTER BOBBIE (b. 1945) as Contract Player #1, KATE MACGREGOR-STEWART (b. 1944) as Contract Player #6, JEFF BROOKS (b. 1950) as Contract Player #5, and GARY BAYER (b. 1944) as Jimmy. Pages heavily toned. Corners lightly worn and creased. Cover toned. Slight ink transfer. Light surface creases. Otherwise, fine condition.
