EMLYN WILLIAMS (1905-1987) was a distinguished Welsh playwright (Night Must Fall, 1936; The Corn is Green, 1942),screenwriter (The Man Who Knew Too Much, 1934) and film and stage actor (who won a Tony for A Boy Growing Up, 1958). In addition to plays, he penned a novel, two autobiographies and a controversial true crime study, Beyond Belief (1967). English stage actor GEORGE ROSE (1926-1988), who had first stepped onto a Broadway stage in 1946 (King Henry IV) won a Drama Desk Award for My Fat Friend (1974), and another for The Kingfisher. He won a Tony for a 1976 revival of My Fair Lady (in the role of Alfred Doolittle), and both a Tony and a Drama Desk for his final appearance there: The Mystery of Edwin Drood (1986). Among his other critically acclaimed performances were Coco (1970), She Loves Me (1977) and The Pirates of Penzance (1981). Corners lightly worn and creased. Edges slightly worn. Slightly toned.
