Playbill Cover signed: "Claudette/Colbert", "Jean-Pierre/Aumont", "Shelly Desai", "Liane/Langland", "Nancy Addison Altman" and "Stephen/Schnetzer", 4 pages, 5½x9. New York, New York, circa October-December 1981. Playbill cover for A Talent for Murder at the Biltmore Theatre on Broadway. In this play, Anne Royce McClain (Colbert) becomes the prime suspect after the murder of her daughter-in-law, Sheila (Altman). She is supported in her efforts to prove her innocence by her physician ex-lover, Dr. Paul Marchand (Aumont). The cast also included Desai as Rashi, Langland as Pamela Harrison and Schnetzer as Mark Harrison. Barton Heyman, who did not sign, was Lawrence McClain. The "femme fatale" in Cecil B. DeMille's The Sign of the Cross and Cleopatra, CLAUDETTE COLBERT (1903-1996) showed her flair for sophisticated comedy by winning the 1934 Academy Award for Best Actress for It Happened One Night. After serving in the Free French forces in WWII, French actor JEAN-PIERRE AUMONT (1911-2001) relocated to California in 1941, landing a contract with MGM. He has appeared in numerous films and stage productions throughout his 67-year career. Lightly creased, light diagonal crease at upper loop of "J" in Jean. 3 staple holes at fold.
