family meets with tragedy on their land. Award-winning film, television and
stage actress, LANGE began to blossom in the early 80s with her roles in
Tootsie (1982) and Frances (1982). Her real debut was in 1976 as
the helpless beauty in King Kong. She went on to make All That
Jazz (1979), The Postman Always Rings Twice (198), Men Don't
Leave (1990), Cape Fear (1991), Losing Isaiah (1995) and A
Thousand Acres (1997). Television credits include Cat on a Hot Tin
Roof (1984) and O Pioneers! (1991). Stage credits include A
Streetcar Named Desire (1992). Having started out in television guest
appearances and commercials, PFEIFFER proved she could hold her own
opposite heavyweights like Jack Nicholson in The Witches of Eastwick
(1987), Al Pacino in Scarface (1983) and Robert Redford in Up Close
and Personal (1996). Her characters range from sexpots (Susie Diamond in
The Fabulous Baker Boys, 1989, for which she did her own vocals) to the
farmer's daughter (A Thousand Acres, 1996), to a werewolf (Wolf,
1994) and a Catwoman (Batman Returns, 1992). Fine condition.
