Signed photograph of the actors, likely at an event for the release of the film which they both appeared in
Photograph signed: "Patrick Macnee/2004.", "Carole Ashby", in black felt tip, B/w 8x10. Although he has filled many other film and TV roles, including a recurring role as Sherlock Holmes' companion Dr. Watson on British television, British actor PATRICK MACNEE (1922-2015) is best known as the witty and stylishly dressed John Steed, playing opposite a series of glamorous female partners, including Honor Blackman and Diana Rigg, in two spy series, The Avengers (1961-1969), and The New Avengers (1976-1977). Actress CAROLE ASHBY (b. 1955) has only appeared in a small number of films, beginning with the role of Linda Boyland in Chariots of Fire (1981). She soon after became a Bond girl, appearing in Octopussy (1983) and A View to Kill (1985). Afterwards, Ashby was restricted to television roles, with her only major recurring role being Louise on 'Allo 'Allo (1988). Image pixelated from resizing. Otherwise, fine condition.
