This Senate Report was printed by Schwartz on a regular basis to inform constituents of the actions the Texas Legislature took. It includes numerous details from Texas politics, along with several black and white images. Toned. Folding creases. Lightly worn edges. Otherwise, fine condition. Accompanied by TLS: "A.R. Schwartz". Dated July 14, 1972. 8½x11. One page. In Part: "Thank you so much for writing and asking for my autograph to use in your special education classes on recent events. I am delighted to be of help to you in this way and, as you can see from the enclosures, have taken this opportunity to supply you with some background material on me include my most recent newsletter". Mailing creases. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine condition. Aaron R. Schwartz (b. 1926 in Galveston, Texas) is a Texas politician who was active in his state's legislature for decades. Before he was elected to any office, Schwartz earned his law degree and served in the military during WWII. In 1955, he won a seat in the Texas House of Representatives. Five years later, he moved on to the Texas Senate to represent District 17. He remained in this seat until 1981. Although he was voted out of office, Schwartz continued to stay involved in Texas politics towards the end of his life. Two Items.
