Autograph note signed: "To Margaret/Best Wishes/Abe Burrows",
5¼x4¼ album leaf. Burrows (1910-1985) wrote and often directed classic
American musical comedies. He won a Pulitzer Prize in 1962 for "How To
Succeed In Business Without Really Trying". That play, as well as an even
more famous work by Burrows, Guys and Dolls (1951) won Tony Awards as
best Broadway musical. Ink note below signature (unknown hand). Irregular
left edge. Stain in upper right corner. Otherwise, fine
condition.
