Vigoda, who made his first television appearance on Suspense in 1949, has since appeared as a guest star on a long list of TV series, from Mannix (1973) to Howard Stern (2005). He has also made a number of feature films, most notably appearing as Sal Tessio in The Godfather (1972) and The Godfather: Part II (1974). Vigoda reprised this role for a trilogy of Godfather video games released in 2006 and 2007. His last theatrical performance on one of those New York City stages was in a revival of Arsenic and Old Lace (1986-1987).
