ADAM FAITH and LETITIA DEAN
12x9 image, Dean with her arm around Faith
Photograph signed: "Regards/Adam Faith", "All my love/Letitia Dean". B/w, 12x9. English pop singer ADAM FAITH (1940-2003) reached #1 on his country's music charts in 1959 with "What Do You Want?" He would ultimately have 24 charting singles. His debut album of 1960 combined familiar pop classics ("Summertime", "Singin' in the Rain") with new material. As in the US, pop singers of Faith's style were somewhat eclipsed by The Beatles' rock revolution, and he turned his attention to acting, appearing frequently on British independent TV and in a few feature films, and making many stage appearances throughout the U.K. "Lonely Pup in a Christmas Shop" was a novelty hit for Faith in 1960. Television actress LETITIA DEAN (b. 1967) was an original cast member of the popular British sitcom EastEnders (1985-1995), appearing occasionally on the show in subsequent years. In early 2012 it was announced that she will return to the cast of EastEnders. She had her own series, Split Ends (1989), and has had recurring roles on Grange Hill and Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married. Dean, known for her weight fluctuations, marketed a successful exercise video after her most recent and successful diet. If Faith and Dean appeared together, it must have been at a celebrity or stage event. They share no film or TV credits. Signatures in poor contrast but legible. Light surface creases. Printing on verso *no show through). Fine condition.
