Inscribed photograph signed: "To/ David/ God Bless You/ Adam Roarke" in blue ink. B/w, 8x10. American actor and film director Adam Roarke (1937-1996) signed with Universal Studios in 1957, and throughout the 50s and 60s appeared prolifically in many different television series such as The Virginian (1963), The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1965), The Road West (1966) and in 1986 he even played the original Communications Officer Garrison in Star Trek. Roarke also starred in many films, his breakout, starring role came as Raymond Bailey in The Stunt Man (1980), and he also performed in other popular films such as El Dorado (1966), Hells Angels on Wheels (1967), and Dirty Mary Crazy Larry (1974). He turned to teaching in 1982 when he opened up the Film Actor's Lab in Dallas, Texas with students such as Lou Diamond Phillips and Darryl Cox. Light surface creases. Ink shows through on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
