A form letter with date and time filled in, relating to a radio appearance. In part: "As a speaker on 'America's Town Meeting of the Air' I shall express my own views and opinions-those which I have developed and adopted as my own...It is understood that the program in question is scheduled for broadcast over your facilities on December 14, 1939, at 9:30 p.m...." In 1936, Harry E. Yarnell (1875-1959) was appointed Commander in Chief, Asiatic Fleet with the rank of Admiral. For his services as Commander in Chief, Asiatic Fleet he was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal. In 1942, Yarnell was advanced to the rank of Admiral. America's Town Meeting of the Air was broadcast on NBC from 1935-1956. Lightly creased. File nicks and holes at blank left. Overall, fine condition.
