Affixed printed caricature 2¾x3½. B/w. Sentiment (translated from Spanish): “All friendship”. Adolf A. Berle Jr. (1895-1971) came to fame as one of the three founding members of U.S. President Roosevelt's “Brain Trust”, a group of advisors who significantly influenced federal policy decisions. All three original members (including Rexford Tugwell and Raymond Moley) were Columbia University professors when they were tapped to help the new President create and implement his liberal policies. His book The Modern Corporation and Private Property (1932) helped shape corporate governance. Toned. Note on verso in unknown hand. Light creasing and smudging. Otherwise, fine condition.
