Ben Afflectk stars in the film as George Reeves, TV's Superman of the 1950s, who allegedly killed himself in 1959. Diane Lane plays Toni Mannix, the wife of a powerful Hollywood producer, with whom Reeves was having an affair while engaged to marry someone else. Adrian Brody plays a detective hired by Reeves' mother to investigate the event, one which most of Hollywood would prefer to sweep under the rug. In 2002, Adrien Brody (b. 1973) became the youngest actor ever to win the Best Actor Oscar (for The Pianist). He had previously shown promise in major supporting roles, as in Spike Lee's Summer of Sam (1999). Subsequent star performances include The Village (2004) and King Kong (2005). Fine condition.
