Adrienne Corri (1930-2016) was born in Edinburgh, but her parents were Italian. She is a screen and stage actress who also has several television credits to her name. Her best known roles include the rape victim Mrs. Alexander in Stanley Kubrick's 1971 film A Clockwork Orange, Lara's mother in the classic 1965 film Dr. Zhivago and Valerie in Jean Renoir's 1951 film The River. She also appeared in many horror and suspense films from the 1950's to the 1970's in films such as Devil Girl from Mars (1954) and A Study in Terror (1965). She also wrote a book titled The Search for Gainsborough (Jonathan Cape: 1984). Slightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
