The 1983 Brian De Palma film, Scarface, starred Pacino as Tony Montana, an exiled Cuban criminal who rises to the top of Florida's crime chain, beginning as a runner for Miami drug lord Frank Lopez (Robert Loggia). Pacino was nominated for the 1984 Golden Globe for Best Actor - Drama for this film, which was also nominated for Golden Globes for Best Supporting Actor (Steven Bauer) and Best Original Score.
