AFTRA membership application signed by actor and stuntman Al Wyatt in 1955. Wyatt was a stunt double for Randolph Scott, Joel McCrea, George Montgomery and Jock Mahoney, among others.
Document signed "Al Wyatt" in Blue ink. Blue ink notations in unknown hand. 2 pages, 6x8½, 1 sheet, front and verso. With 6¼x3¼ initiation fee receipt carbon copy with perforated left edge stapled at top edge. Oct. 11, 1958. Membership form for the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. In 1955, Wyatt appeared in Robber's Roost, Shotgun and Wichita and appeared in episodes of The Cisco Kid and TV Reader's Digest. He also did stunts in Wichita and The Last Command. Wyatt (1917-1992) was a stuntman and stunt double for the likes of Randolph Scott, Joel McCrea, George Montgomery and Jock Mahoney. In all, he has stunt credits on over 30 movies and TV shows, including Columbia's 1948 Superman serial and episodes of The Range Rider (1951), Batman (1966) and Star Trek (1966). Wyatt has also appeared in 30 movies and TV shows, with repeat appearances on The Range Rider (1951), Boots and Saddles (1957-1958) and Tales of Wells Fargo (1959-1960). Lightly toned and creased. Form has light dents and nicks at top edge and was folded in half and unfolded. Receipt has carbon copy marks. Otherwise in fine condition.
