Typed Letter signed: "Alan Charles Beckwith", 1 page, 8½x11. Studio
City, California, 1984 July 5. On personal letterhead to Todd Axelrod, Las
Vegas, Nevada. In full: "Received your letter from my secretary on
your request for original material that can be used for presentation at the
museum. I will be more than happy to forward any appropriate items of interest
that I have. Any further information and correspondence, may be sent either to
the above address, or c/o George Michaud Agency, 10113 Riverside Dr. Toluca
Lake, California, 91602. Thank you and much success. I remain,
Respectfully". In December 1972, Alan Beckwith became at age 20 the youngest
commissioned officer in the Marine Corps and underwent flight training, but was
honorably discharged when the Vietnam War ended. His performance in a Los
Angeles stage production earned him movie roles, including The Lindbergh
Kidnapping Case (1976), The China Syndrome (1979) and UFOria
(1985); and in several TV episodes. He was an un-credited stand-in for
Christopher Walken in The Dogs of War (1980). Fold creases not near
signature. Lightly creased at corners. Otherwise, fine
condition.
