Honoring the 60th anniversary of the first Long-Distance International Air Race, Circuit of Europe, postmarked Vincennes, France, June 18, 1971. French stamp honors aviation pioneer and airplane manufacturer Henri Farman. Speer was appointed the head architect of the Nazi government in 1934 and served as Minister of Armaments from 1943-1945. He was found guilty of war crimes at Nuremberg in 1946 and served in prison from 1946-1966, dying in 1981. With seven unsigned b/w photographs, three depicting Rödel, two depicting Speer, one Steinhoff, and one Hrabak and Batz, each approximately 5x4 in size. Biographies of Speer and the four pilots, in German, printed on back of envelope. Eight items. Fine condition.
