ALBERT WARNER The film executive who co-founded Warner Bros. Studios penned his signature and this letter! Autograph Letter Signed: “AW” in black ink. 6x8¼. One page. Letterhead from his home in Miami Beach, Florida. In Full: “Thanks Re Helen sure feel happy about it all. You say if Helen has staying powers well Wolfe if you read up on your history, you should know she had plenty of what you call staying powers”. Albert Warner (1884-1967) was one of the four brothers who co-founded Warner Bros. Studios in 1923. Although the four brothers - Jack, Harry, Sam, and Albert - had been showing movies in nickelodeons and other theaters as early as 1903, they did not incorporate a business entity until 20 years later. Albert sold his shares of the company in 1956 after working for many years as its treasurer. Ink beaded (still legible). Mailing creases. Otherwise, fine condition.
