From the All Movie Guide: "In this thriller, an innocent man is wrongfully committed to an asylum for the criminally insane. While there he learns how to tap into his psychic powers and to affect the lives of others via astral projection. His credits include The Naked and the Dead (1958), What Did You Do in the War, Daddy? (1966), Won Ton Ton, The Dog Who Saved Hollywood (1976), and The Secret of NIMH (1982, voice). Ray also appeared in several made-for-TV movies, and he made guest appearances on several TV series, including Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse (1958), Naked City (1962), Daniel Boone (1965), Bonanza (1964, 1972), CHiPS (1979) and Falcoln Crest (1985).
