Ray, Phil Carey and Dick York and introduced Mitsuko Kimura (pictured).
Imprinted caption affixed at lower margin. In 1955, Ray was also seen on the
big screen in Battle Cry and We're No Angels. Aldo Ray
(1926-1991), born Aldo DaRe, was a leading man of Hollywood and some
European films, specializing in playing brawny but lovable tough guys. After
debuting on screen in 1951, Ray went on to portray American rednecks and
military men in over 60 films over his 39-year career. His credits
include The Naked and the Dead (1958), What Did You Do in the War,
Daddy? (1966), Won Ton Ton, The Dog Who Saved Hollywood (1976), and
The Secret of NIMH (1982, voice). Ray also appeared in several
made-for-TV movies, and he made guest appearances on several TV
series, including Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse (1958), Naked
City (1962), Daniel Boone (1965), Bonanza (1964, 1972),
CHiPS (1979) and Falcoln Crest (1985). Slightly creased at
blank margins and corners, lightly shaded at upper left margins. Minor surface
creases and striations (most not evident head on). Pencil note (unknown hand) on
verso (no show through). Otherwise, fine condition.
