Baldwin and Basinger were not in the cast of this 1995-1996 musical comedy revival. Married at the time, they may have been in the audience. ALEC BALDWIN (b.1958) appeared in the television series The Doctors (1980-1982) and Knot's Landing (1984-1985) before making seven feature films between 1986 and 1989. He showed his star potential as Jack Ryan in The Hunt for Red October (1990) before declining a role in the sequels, instead earning Tony and Emmy nominations as Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire (1995). He won plaudits as war crimes prosecutor Robert Jackson in Nuremberg (2000) and an Oscar nomination for The Cooler (2003). He continues to find roles in multiple films and television series including one of his more well-known roles as Jack Donaghy in the television comedy 30 Rock. After several TV movies, KIM BASINGER (b. 1953) moved to the big screen in such films as The Natural (1984), 9½ Weeks (1986) and Batman (1989). She earned the both the Academy and Golden Globe awards as Best Supporting Actress for L.A. Confidential (1997). An active environmentalist, Basinger portrayed wildlife preservationist Kuki Gallman in I Dreamed of Africa (1999). Baldwin and Basinger were married from 1993 to 2001, and have one daughter.
