New Jersey. In full: "Thank you very much for your letter. I should have
liked to have come to the States this autumn, but there now seems no likelihood.
It is very nice of you to ask me to stay with you if I did come, and nothing
would have pleased me better. Some day, however, I hope to see you in your home.
With kindest regards to your husband and yourself." Alexander Fleming was
awarded the 1945 Nobel Prize in Medicine for his "discovery of penicillin and
its curative effect in various infectious diseases." Fine
condition.
