Primarily a TV actress, Alfre Woodard (b. 1952) has won four
Emmys, for the series Hill Street Blues (1984), LA Law 1987)
and The Practice (2003); and for the TV movie Miss Evers' Boys(1997). At last count she had ten more Emmy nominations, the most
recent for her role as Betty Applewhite in Desperate Housewives (2006).
She has also been seen in feature films, beginning with an Oscar-nominated role
in Cross Creek (1983), and including a recent starring role in The
Family That Preys (2008). She won a Screen Actors Guild award for The
Piano Lesson (1996). Lightly worn. Lightly toned at edges. Lightly frayed at
left edge. Otherwise, fine condition.
