Signed on the front cover of his album Alice Cooper Goes to Hell
Record Album Cover signed: "Alice Cooper, 12x12. Front cover of the LP album Alice Cooper Goes to Hell (1983). Record not included. Alice Cooper, born Vincent Damon Furnier in 1948, was a pioneer of "shock rock". As well known for his bizarre theatrics, which included the use of electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and boa constrictors, as he was for his heavy metal sound, Cooper had originally formed his group, Alice Cooper, with Michael Bruce and Glen Buxton on guitar, Dennis Dunaway on bass and Neal Smith on drums. The group recorded and toured together until 1975, when Cooper legally changed his name and began asuccessful solo career. His hits include "Eighteen", "School's Out" (a No. 2 hit) and "Only Women Bleed". To perform under the name of Alice Cooper, he pays substantial members to the other original members of the band which previously bore that name. In 1996, Cooper performed his hit, "School's Out", in the feature film, Scream, and he performed "Hands of Death" in the made-for-TV movie, Secrets of the X Files, Part 2. Cooper, a recovering alcoholic, leads a private life today quite different from his stage persona: "born again" Christian; 6-day a week, 2-handicap golfer; and close friend of Pat Boone. Minor surface creases. Otherwise, fine condition.
