The creator of the historic 1970's video game Pong signs his name in black ink
Signature: "Allan E Alcorn", in black ink, 4½x3¾. Allan Alcorn (b. 1948) is an engineer and computer scientist, known for designing the historic video game Pong. He began his career working at the electronics company Ampex, meeting future founder of Atari, Inc. Ted Dabney while working there. It was under Dabney and his business partner's direction that Alcorn designed Pong, which was a 1970's arcade and gaming hit. Pong would be his only well-known venture into the gaming world, working mainly as a consultant for several successful tech and electronic companies in later years. In 2011, he founded the technology festival Hack The Future, aiming at bringing interest in technology to elementary aged students. Fine condition.
