ALPHA BLAIR
She responds in a handwritten letter to the American Museum of Historical Documents! Dated in 1984.
Autograph letter signed: "Alpha Blair" 1 page, 5½x8. No place, August 17, 1984. To "Dear Mr. Axelrod" in full: "In response to your request, here are some signed photos & handwritten material that I hope you will find of interest. Though it's longer than one page, I hope you will display the letter in its entirety. I value the opportunity to be included in your displays & wanted to share not only an acting experience with your visitors, but also the steps that have worked for me in the pursuit of my goals & that might prove beneficial to other people as well. When the presentation is ready for viewing, I'd very much appreciate having a photo of it. The next time I'm in Las Vegas, I'll visit your museum. I hope your plans to expand your collection are meeting with every success. Best." Alpha Blair is an American actress, model and photographer who had her most active spurts during the 1970s and early 1980s. With only 6 on-screen credits (most of which are guest-appearance or other non-title roles), Blair didn't make much of an impact on the highly competitive Hollywood scene. Still, she appeared in a few noteworthy productions, including the popular 70s TV series The Waltons (1974) in which she played a school girl. As a photographer she is much more successful, earning a shooting career with Playboy at the age of 22. She has also photographed some of the most coveted stars of our time, including Tennessee Williams who posed in a reflective portrait for Blair while working on the play Small Craft Warnings (which Blair acted in, 1972). Normal mailing folds. Fine condition.
