AMY GRANTSigned receipt for her donation of several items to a YWCA auction Receipt signed: "Amy Grant" in blue ink, 8½x4. She certifies that items donated to the 1987 Jessi Colter-Waylon Jennings Auction for the benefit of needy young women in the YWCA program personally belong to her. She has left blank the space provided to specify the donated items. Amy Grant (b. 1960), a gospel singer with strong crossover appeal, released her debut album at age 16 (1976). Her 1982 album, Age to Age, earned her the first of her five Grammy awards for best female gospel performer. She had two no. 1 popular music hits: "Baby Baby" (1988) and "That's What Love is For" (1991). Although her divorce from singer-songwriter Gary Chapman and remarriage to country music star Vince Gill (in 2000) caused some Christian radio stations to stop playing her music, her 2002 album, Legacy ... Hymns of Faith, still reached no. 1 on contemporary Christian music charts. Slightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
