tip. B/w, 8x10. Ancher Nelsen (1904-1992) was an American politician who
served as the 34th Lieutenant Governor Minnesota. Beginning as a member of
the Minnesota Senate (1935-1949) and a delegate to the 1948 and 1952 Republican
National Conventions, Nelsen was elected into office as Lieutenant Governor in
1952. After serving for less than one year, Nelsen resigned to work as the
administrator of the Rural Electrification Administration Program. He was then
elected to the US House of Representatives and served in Congress for 8
consecutive terms. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine
